Abstract or description
The text responds to the research project and exhibition 're-turning' by artists Andrew Brown, Joanne Lee, Danica Maier, Christine Stevens, which took place in Stoke-on-Trent in 2018, and was a revisit of the Topographies of the Obsolete project, which these artists took part in.
The text aims to understand the expereince of artists in relation to the city of Stoke-on-Trent, and in particular, considers the value and standing of the creative individual in relation to industry.
