New Place, Stratford-upon-Avon. Shakespeare's Medieval Residence.

Conference Presentation at the British Shakespeare Association Conference marking the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. This presentation was one of a number of plenary lectures, papers, seminars, workshops, and performances held at this prestigious event. The topic was an evaluation of all the available evidence for the existence, form and development of New Place, focusing on its initial construction by Hugh Clopton and the renovations which Shakespeare was thought to have made.
