Recent studies have highlighted that people's attitudes towards sun protection can change with the use of visual aids such as ultraviolet photography. Alison Williams, Lecturer in Psychology at Staffordshire University, discusses how aesthetic practitioners can help patients to protect their skin from sun damage by framing health messages, using image-based software and giving frequent reminders
