Abstract or description
Think Tank 2 gathered representatives and students from 9 partner institutions - Nottingham Trent University, Sheffield Hallam University, Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design, The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Geneva University of Art and Design (HEAD), Newcastle University, ENSA Limoges, Bucks New University and Bergen Academy of Art and Design. It consisted of participant presentations which negotiated ongoing and completed research undertaken through phase 2 of the project, and how these related to the projects overarching research strands. It was agreed that phase 2 of Topographies of the Obsolete will expand and involve the institutions and the countries they are situated in to a greater extent as a basis for new Topographies projects. Brownsword detailed his ongoing research concerning re-activating ceramic intangible heritage in North Staffordshire.
