Abstract or description

From mid-August to December 2020, I explored the place of Falstad and the layers of history from a distance using online archives and the specialist skills and knowledge of the staff at Falstad. The residency focused on creating links between the material culture of the past and contemporary debates. This was then shared will share on weekly blog posts. The COVID crisis created a situation where a research project could be undertaken that explored the entanglements of facts and internet dissemination, the project, therefore, brought how histories are not just limited through time and memory but are in fact live morphing entities influenced by contemporary discourses and technological advances, in this case online visitor experiences.
