Abstract or description

This article discusses the main approaches for the application of archaeological and forensic archaeological methods to study the history of the Holocaust in Ukraine. It also offers general recommendations for the wider implementation of such an approach in compliance with both academic and ethical standards. In addition, the article analyzes in detail the example of the study of mass graves of Holocaust victims in Ukraine (Busk, Lviv region) in order to illustrate the prospects and limits of these methods.
