The One Hundred Year Plan Campaign

The Portland Inn Project, an artist and community led organisation based in Stoke-on-Trent, led by artists Anna Francis and Rebecca Davies have worked with the community of a neighbourhood in Stoke-on-Trent where the project is based, to write a One Hundred Year Plan for the area.

A campaign to share the project, and to launch the website (where all documentation and resources developed as part of the project are housed) was launched in September 2023. Anna Francis and Rebecca Davies, as artistic directors worked with photographer Felicity Crawshaw to plan and deliver a community photoshoot, which would illustrate the four pillars identified for the 100 Year Plan ethos to be built around. The four pillars are Connections, Roots, Hopes and Future Actions.

Four photographic images were made in a photo shoot with the Community in the neighbourhood. These photos were then worked on by graphic designer Dan Muir, to turn them into an ad campaign, to launch the 100 Year Plan and Website.

The launch involved 12 digital billboards across Stoke-on-Trent, showcasing the 100 Year Plan posters from 12/09/23 until 26/09/23.
