Abstract or description
Interview looking at the ways in which ethnicity and gender in game can be seen to impact both the game industry and those looking to join the sector. The podcast is part of an outreach piece of work with Women in Game providing education based content which can offer visibility to under represented voices in game. The podcast is part of the outward facing EDI work undertaken by the department and supported by WIG.
In this case Nina Kim from Rare (a game developer) talks about the trajectory to senior designer, having and dealing with imposter syndrome, working as a woman in the industry and also the importance of following you passion for game.
