Abstract or description

Some of the most frequently visited premises for board games stem from a historical setting or scenario, from the War of the Roses to the Cold War, the Dark Ages to pirates or the Wild West. Our panellists discuss some of their favourite games in terms of both how they play but also the real life backdrop behind them. So for instance 'what does this card mean?' applies to both what it does in the game but also where they actually got the idea for its name in the first place!
