Abstract or description
Boardgames are often understood to have potential when teaching aspects of sustainability and change. This paper examines some of the current iterations of boardgames that attempt to address these issues. We contrast it with the ideas of 'kindness' and 'cosy' in games, examining these aesthetics and asking whether they are able to effectively present a forward thinking ethos when looking for sustainable pathways in boardgaming play.
