Abstract or description

This seminar talk explores the latest practices of making animation in virtual reality by pioneering and independent studios and artists such as Studio Syro, Baobab Studio, ReimaginedVR, and Studio LAVAMACHINE. Using tools such as Quill by Smoothstep, these creators are forging new paths in VR animation production. The research examines the current production pipeline employed by these innovators, highlighting its advantages, challenges, and potential future directions. By analysing the works of these leading studios, this study provides an overview of the state of VR for animation production and its transformative potential in the animation industry.
