Portfolio for Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology.

This portfolio documents the work I have completed during my Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology (2023-2026) at the University of Staffordshire. The work was completed across two placements. Initially, I worked as a Senior Specialist Speech & Language Therapist and a trainee Health Psychologist at an NHS Trust in the Northwest of England. I then moved to a two-year secondment as a Lecturer in Speech & Language Therapy at a University in the Northwest of England. Additional external opportunities were also sought to support completion of the programme.

The portfolio is divided into six chapters:

5. Teaching and Training in Health Psychology
6. Health Psychology Interventions

Within each chapter, I present evidence of my development in the form of research manuscripts, case studies and reflective commentaries. These outline the work undertaken and the experience and skills I have developed over the course of the doctorate. Further details of the chapter contents are provided in the introduction.
