Abstract or description

At the Re:Assemble collaborative peer-gathering and learning journey convened by Civic Square that united builders, makers, and neighbours to advance neighborhood-scale climate transition and material justice, Anna Francis and Rebecca Davies presented a scratch performance in development.

'How Are You Going to Scale Up? with the Portland Inn Project: A Skit with Anna Francis and Rebecca Davies

Join Duke and Bailey also known as, Hayley and Bill, AKA Anna Francis and Rebecca Davies, co-founders of The Portland Inn Project in Stoke-on-Trent. In this scratch show/skit you'll learn what it takes to (creatively and ambitiously) scale up an organisation. What do you need to say to the man in the suit with the briefcase of funding? How bold do you need to be and how big can you dream?'

The event presented an opportunity to explore the differences in approach between community led and developer led approaches to neighbourhood scale development.
