This chapter describes a participatory photographic project, based in Stoke-on-Trent, UK for men experiencing enduring mental distress. Tony Jones (the lead author) was the Project Leader of the group from when it began in 2007 until 2012. The chapter examines the wider context of health inequalities and the use of creative arts in supporting recovery from mental distress. It also examines both the successes and the challenges of running the group.
