This is one of two television broadcasts by the British Forces Broadcasting Service. The item covers the research by Associate Professor Fiona Graham and Senior Lecturer Paul Ottey with interviews at Staffordshire University. The content covers their research in France using film into the history of the First World War.

The British Forces Broadcasting Service provides radio and television programmes for Her Majesty's Armed Forces, and their dependents worldwide. Editorial control is independent of the Ministry of Defence and the armed forces themselves. It was established by the British War Office in 1943.
