This chapter describes the Bridge International Youth Project, run by North Staffordshire based B-Arts, a pioneering participatory arts organisation. It draws on the findings of an external evaluation of the project, conducted by the Creative Communities Unit at Staffordshire University, and funded by the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund (Rose and Webster 2007). It also includes insights from B Arts Co-Director Hilary Hughes, into the nature of learning at the Bridge Project.
