Abstract or description

This paper will present data from a variety of sources, government white papers and reports, from bodies such as NESTA and Skill Set, and Games Industry reports from trade bodies such as UKIE and TIGA. It will analyse the wider state of computer games education in the United Kingdom, across FE and HE, and where possible in secondary school settings. An analysis of the literature available will allow the paper to present where creativity fits in the current agenda, and its potential role in future developments as we train increasing number of students to enter the creative industries. This paper will be a comprehensive snapshot of the role creativity is set to play in the increasingly technologically orientated educational agendas within education of the next few years
