Abstract or description

This paper investigates the design issues for the wireless networked control systems. The impacts of the packet delay, packet drop/loss, delay jitter and sampling jitter on the performance of a wireless networked control system are discussed. An inverted pendulum model is used to conduct the simulation study. The extensive simulation
results reveal that packet delay and loss have more significant impact than sampling jitter and delay jitter.
