Abstract or description

This study explores the use of mixed media and metaphor to express survivor’s accounts of child abuse. Using Aristotle’s theory of metaphor, mimesis, and visual rhetoric the study looks to explore the acceptability of imagery portraying hidden situations, searching for parallels with contemporary Persuasion Theory.
