Abstract or description

The presentation and workshop disseminated new knowledge created from practice based research including interviews in France.

The aim of the workshop was to support teaching and learning for students studying GCSE and A level History and English including First World War Poetry.

The discussion with over 300 schoolchildren was held at Sir Graham Balfour School in Stafford. The Powerpoint is embedded with research undertaken in France by Associate Professor and Producer Fiona Graham and Senior Lecturer and camera operator Paul Ottey.

The aim of the content is to support learning about tank warfare in World War One which is part of the school curriculum.
